Brand Statement:
POSI app, designed for young adults in urban environments who seek to discover live music and events. POSI creates a sense of community, allowing users to explore and connect with their city's music scene and fellow music lovers. The app’s name, POSI (short for "symposium"), reflects its goal of fostering social exchange and connection through shared experiences.
Details: Used a dark color scheme to enhance usability in low-light environments, making the app comfortable to use both day and night. Design elements, such as the repeating lines found throughout the interface and logo, were inspired by sound waves, reinforcing the app’s connection to music and rhythm. The design reflects the vibrant energy of nightlife and live events.
Target Audience:
The current customer base spans a wide range of ages and backgrounds. However, the goal is to focus on a younger, vibrant crowd, particularly people aged 21-30 who work at neighboring restaurants. Given Station 280's welcoming vibe and late hours, it’s the perfect spot for restaurant industry professionals to unwind with a beer after a long shift.
Problem: There was a need for an app that not only helps users find live music and events but also provides a social platform where they can connect with like-minded individuals.
Process: Designed the app interface using Figma and Illustrator, incorporating a youthful, energetic vibe through color, gradients, and typography.
Outcome: POSI successfully combines the functionality of an event discovery app with the social aspect of connecting music lovers, creating an immersive, intuitive experience.
