Brand Statement:
Ainsley Shea Potomac website redesign and brand development. Focused on creating a refined and functional digital presence that reflects the firm’s expanded capabilities in public relations and strategic communications. Developed a logo and branding that balances the Potomac brand’s individuality with its connection to the Ainsley Shea family.
Target Audience:
The segment of the population most likely to use Ainsley Shea Potomac services are people that are interested in Political Relations, read articles like The Hill and Politico that are centered around bias, but lean slightly to the left. Corporations in regulated industry that have been impacted by an elected official’s decision making. Large public affairs firms and government relations firms.
Problem: The original website lacked depth and did not adequately showcase the full range of services offered by Ainsley Shea Potomac. There was a need to create a site that conveyed the firm's sophistication, authority, and expertise in strategic communications while maintaining a visual connection to Ainsley Shea’s established branding.
Process: Designed the entire website structure, including site map and layout, to ensure an easy-to-navigate platform that reflected the firm’s professionalism and expanded services. Transitioned from a single-page site to a more in-depth, extended single-page layout that effectively communicates Potomac’s services, values, and expertise.
Details: A standout feature of the new Ainsley Shea Potomac website is the use of the Vestaboard design, which appears in two key sections. Its repetition reinforces the brand’s commitment to both innovation and transparency. In one section, it highlights authentic client feedback while in another, it features classic quotes from the founder to give potential clients a sense of the firm’s values and culture. This dual use helps humanize the brand, making it more relatable to politically engaged professionals who prioritize clarity, impact, and strategic insight.
Outcome: The final result is a visually refined and strategically effective website and brand identity that elevates Ainsley Shea Potomac. The redesign successfully communicates the firm’s expanded capabilities and ensures a lasting, impactful digital presence.
